Crossword Solver
Example: forg.t-.e-..t (forget-me-not, 6-2-3)
To use the crossword solver, type in a word you wish to look up. Missing letters can be included using the ‘.’ character.
Spaces and dashes (’-') can also be added, and the length of the word you have typed up will display in the field next to the submit button (this may require a small amount of time to update). This word length relates to the word length in the crossword clue. A list of words that can match the pattern entered will appear – clicking on the words will give possible definitions. Clicking the small minus sign next to each word will make them disappear – useful if you have eliminated a possibility. To get a word back, you must resubmit the search.
Anagram Solver
Example: tonem.-e.-rof (forget-me-not, 6-2-3)
To use the anagram solver type in the letters that need rearranging. The solver will automatically detect the length of the word you have typed in as above. However, you can also manually type in a word length if you have missing letters – the ‘.’ character, spaces and dashes can still be used as before to ‘artificially’ get the desired length.
