Hi Dave,

First off, I want to say thanks for publishing this great article. I used some bits and pieces of your code to experiment with the Auth. But I am using Cake 1.3xx, and it appears there are some issues with the versions and the Auth.

Anyhow. I posted up my code (and the problem) here:

And I was wondering if you could have a look at it, and let me know if you can found out what is wrong.

Hi, terrific web site you’ve fit together right here. I fully enjoyed scanning this article. I noticed it tonight and soon discovered that it was very worthwhile, so it motivated me to give a reply. Hi,

Thanks for the great tutorial.

I might be missing something however or have you left out the admin_login() section?

No matter what I do I can’t seem to login with the credentials I created for myself.

It seems as if the admin_login() function is blank which would explain why, have you just left this out?
